A four-times-a-day schedule has twenty-eight doses in a week, and this tray gives every one of them a lid. The rows run morning to bedtime and the columns run Monday to Sunday, so the box reads like the chart a nurse fills in, and a glance at the noon row tells you whether the midday dose has gone. The daily strips lift out of the Medtime planner as a column, so one day’s four doses travel together in a pocket and come back to the tray at night.

The Medtime planners carry push-button lids and are on the Arthritis Foundation’s Ease of Use list; the classic four-a-day box uses snap lids and costs less. Compartment depth runs from Large to 3XL, and on a four-dose day the depth matters more than it does on a weekly, because each dose is a smaller slot: the 3XL Medtime holds up to forty-five aspirin-sized tablets in a compartment, the Large around eleven. The three-times-a-day tray is the same idea with one row fewer, for a breakfast, lunch and dinner schedule.

This page is general information about medication tools, not medical advice. Whether a tablet may be split or crushed, how much of a medicine to give and what to do about a missed dose are questions for the pharmacist who filled the prescription and the doctor who wrote it.

Every size and colourway in this line is priced on its own; the Ezy Dose selection keeps the figures current and the till is what decides.

Questions about Ezy Dose 4 times a day pill organizers

Breakfast, noon, evening, bedtime

Which Ezy Dose organizer do you need for four doses a day?

The Medtime four-times-a-day planner or the classic four-a-day box: both give each day four lids for breakfast, noon, evening and bedtime. Choose Medtime for push buttons and removable daily strips, the classic for snap lids and a lower price.

Can you take a daily strip out of an Ezy Dose Medtime planner?

Yes: each day is a strip of four compartments that lifts out of the tray, so a workday’s four doses travel together and go back in their slot at night. The strips are the same on the Large, XL and 3XL trays; only the depth changes.

Which Ezy Dose organizer fits your three doses a day?

Yes, the push-button weekly with three rows: breakfast, lunch and dinner across seven days, twenty-one compartments in all. It is the four-a-day tray with the bedtime row taken off, and it comes in rainbow, pastel and grayscale.
