Ezy Dose nasal aspirator

These are the tools a parent reaches for at two in the morning, and they share one design idea: nothing sharp, nothing that needs a battery, and a shape a hand finds in the dark. The bulb aspirator clears a nose a baby cannot blow; you squeeze, seat the tip, and let go. The lice comb is the tool the CDC names for the job after any treatment: check the hair and comb out nits and lice every two to three days for the next two to three weeks, and the long metal pins are what make that a ten-minute job instead of an hour. The ear syringe is for wax that a doctor has said is safe to soften and flush; it is not for a blocked ear nobody has looked into.

This page is general information about medication tools, not medical advice. Whether a tablet may be split or crushed, how much of a medicine to give and what to do about a missed dose are questions for the pharmacist who filled the prescription and the doctor who wrote it.

Prices are figures from our last update; the Ezy Dose eye updates them on a schedule, and the figure at the till is the one that counts.

Questions about Ezy Dose nose, ear and lice care

What people want settled before they buy a nasal aspirator.

How do you clean an Ezy Dose bulb aspirator after using it?

Warm soapy water squeezed in and out of the bulb, a rinse, and then the bulb left open to dry. The tip comes off on the kits with two tips. A bulb put away wet is the one that smells next week.

How long do you keep combing with an Ezy Dose lice comb after treatment?

Every two to three days for the next two to three weeks, which is the CDC’s schedule, on wet conditioned hair, and everyone in the house is checked at the same time.

Can you use the Ezy Dose earwax syringe on your child?

No. It is for an adult ear that a doctor has looked into and said is safe to flush, with the wax softened first. A child’s ear, or any ear that hurts, goes to the doctor rather than to a syringe.
